Eat well this party season
Tis the season to indulge: it’s no fun to worry about diet and drink intake at this sociable time of year. Yet with the various parties, family occasions, evening activities, and the inevitable richer seasonal food (such as chocolates, brandy sauces, meats and rich puddings) it’s no surprise most people put on pounds over the christmas period – it is easy to let your hair down! But stay strong – enjoy yourself, remember to drink enough water to minimise indigestion, keep active outside (take walks to keep feeling active rather than sluggish from heavy foods and warm indoor temperatures), and remember a little of what you fancy does you good. You will feel better for it – enjoy!
